5.0 kW installation on 12 degree east sloping roof requiring a 25 degree tilt frame to provide the optimum north angle to the sun. The use of the tilt frame will increase the electricity produced by 13% as opposed to installed flat on the east facing roof.

  Solar Hot Water:   Ozroll 2 x 2m Collector installed on 25 degree custom made tilt frame. Tank size = 315 Litres. Please note the silver lined piping in the photos: we only use the highest quality fully insulated UV protected piping between the solar collector and the hot water tank. This minimises heat loss and maximises solar hot water performance delivering a greater reduction to the electricity bill and a faster payback. We do not charge any extra for using such high quality heavily insulated piping.

This design solution ensures the solar system benefits from the entire days sun during all seasons as it rises from the east and sets in the west. The only other system installation alternative entails the entire solar system installed flat to the roof facing East or West, which would result in a 13% to 15% loss in energy output.
